Vonnegut reads more from Slaughterhouse-Five (while playing ping-pong), and talks about writing the novel (which is more or less a summary of Chapter 1). Documentary footage of the destruction of Dresden is also included in this part, as Vonnegut describes his experiences that led to the book.
