		<description>That would be Baz Luhrmann (who adapted, directed, and produced the modern Romeo and Juliet).   You may have recognized some stylistic similarities (quick cuts / fast close-ups and pans / crazy music / stylized fighting) between his version of Romeo and Juliet and the film Moulin Rouge--he did this one as well.</description>

		<description>Don&#039;t forget the mediocre Orson Welles version from 1948! Although I haven&#039;t seen it, it&#039;s supposed to be pretty average. But less R-ish than the Polanski version. So I guess if you&#039;re into not seeing naked witches it&#039;d be a good choice. But Orson Welles really does look cool clad in medieval garb in the screen captures...</description>
