Some Reminders:
1. Calm down–everyone is going to do fine.
2. Here is the handout of IOC Reminders that I passed out on Friday (in case anyone lost theirs or was not in class).
3. We have Kamran to thank for adding a lot of scanned resources on the IB Juniors Page.
4. The online practice IOCs are still available for practicing.
5. Bring one standard-sized audio cassette tape to your IOC. These come in packs, so coordinate with your friends and study buddies.
7. Come to class on Monday with any lingering questions or concerns.
6 . Relax–everyone is going to do fine.

Good luck to everyone!
Re: #6
He’s lying!
just kidding.
Cassette tapes… that’s so retro.
mr quale,
are ALL the criticisms that we had throughout the year in the back of the room? there are just some things i just need to reassure myself of.
OH! and one more last lingering question…how would we go off one of the criticisms? should we just state the ideas and support them…or do we say “in one of the criticism that i read on this particular work said that…”?
thanks mr quale!
see you tomorrow!
All the main pieces of crit. for your IOC works is back there–and on this site on the IB Juniors page. As far as “citing” crit.–you do not need to, however IB expects that the strong responses will be personal responses that reflect independent thought, so other peoples ideas can only go so far.
I would like to say that I had my IOC today, and I would like to confirm what everyone has been wispering about…YOU WILL GET THE PASSAGE THAT YOU ABSOLUTE WILL NOT LIKE TO HAVE!!! There is no escaping from this sad fact of life: even if you never say what you would not like to have, you are too late because you have already thought about the one you will not like to have. Fortunatly for me, the one I didn’t want but ended up having turned out to not be as bad as I first imagined it will be:) So, to recap, even if you will get the one you never talked about in hopes of not getting that particular passage, you will end up getting it, and YOU WILL DO FINE!:) Wish you all luck:)
