Antigone Notes

As we read the play Antigone, we will take notes in our Source Books, and organize our notes according to the different parts of a Greek tragedy (see page 6 in “Information Packet” for definitions of the following terms)

· Prologue

· Parados

· Episodes (6)

· Stasimon (5)

· Exodos

For each of part, write the line numbers down from where it begins to where it ends, provide a brief summary or paraphrase, and write the most important quotation.
